They have beaten Miami when they were in the top at least I think. Beyond that I dont know.
I think WV was in the top 5 last year when Tech beat them.
Miami in 03 is the only game that Tech has ever won against a team finishing the season in the top 10 or top 5.
USC beat Michigan in the rose bowl, january 1st 2004
Cal was in the top 10 easily last year, they were undefeated going into the game and didnt lose again until they lost their bowl game. They were as high as #4.
SC beat Auburn twice, including once at Auburn the year before last when Auburn was preseason #3 to start the season. They destroyed Auburn 22-0
